Research Interests and Activities


Jane was an Assistant Research Fellow working on the HEIRU Group's Rheumatic Fever Risk Factors Study, where she acted as the biological specimen manager. She was also a PhD student with HEIRU. Her thesis concerns the descriptive epidemiology of rheumatic fever, its risk factors and precursor conditions. Jane's research interests include the environmental determinants of health, infectious diseases, and ethnic health inequities. Jane was also a member of He Kainga Oranga, the Housing and Health Research Programme.

Jane currently works as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Melbourne.
