Research interests and activities
Leah Grout is a PhD student with the Health, Environment, and Infection Research Unit (HEIRU). Her research interests include environmental health, infectious diseases, water resources, and One Health. More specifically her work examines the public health and environmental impacts associated with agricultural development and land use change.
Leah has a background in environmental science and public policy. She holds an MPH in global health from Tufts University, where her research focused on refugee health and infectious diseases.
