How to Survive a Plague is a documentary on the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the USA and the response from the community (particularly the activist group ACT-UP) in terms of improving access to treatments. It shows the power of well organised citizen action to improve how a government, research community and the pharmaceutical industry respond.
