King Corn is a documentary about the role of corn in the USA and particularly about the industrialisation of the North American food system. From a health perspective the film covers the use of corn to produce high fructose corn syrup (a major and unhealthy food ingredient). The role of government subsidies in distorting the food system is also well covered.
