Background
I am a registered nurse with a clinical background in Renal, Orthopaedics and Intensive Care. I completed a Master of Health Care at Victoria University in 2019, researching osteoporosis assessment and treatment in primary health care in Wellington.
As well as working for the university to support research, I coordinate consultant and registrar led research projects for the orthopaedic department at CCDHB. As part of my CCDHB role, I also coordinate care for orthopaedic patients requiring acute surgery across Wellington and Kenepuru Hospitals.
My research interests are in orthopaedics, osteoporosis care and fragility fractures. I am also interested in supporting medical and nursing staff to take on research projects.
