200-level courses

The 200-level Zoology papers are designed to build on CELS 191, HUBS 191 and BIOL 112, increase your zoological knowledge, and prepare you for 300-level papers.

For any 200-level paper enquiries please contact Dr Sheena Townsend (Course Coordinator), Rm MG22, 479 7970, sheena.townsend@otago.ac.nz

300-level courses

One of the following papers may be counted towards the Zoology 300-level requirements for BSc or BSc Hons.

Please note:  other 300 level papers may be substituted with HoD permission. For any 300-level paper enquiries please contact Professor Mark Lokman (Course Coordinator), 479 7846, mark.lokman@otago.ac.nz.

400-level courses

Most of the papers at 400-level build on material presented during the 200- or 300-level Zoology courses and reflect the research interests of staff. There are no pre-requisite papers from previous years, so students who have completed a BSc at another university in New Zealand should have no trouble finding suitable papers.

For any 400-level paper enquiries please contact Professor Jon Waters (Course Coordinator), 479-5847, jon.waters@otago.ac.nz
