sits
silently
waiting
court side
in the
darkness
for a
murky
game
of
basketball
that is
not
going to
happen
in the
middle
of the
night
Kelvin Fowler was born in Westwood, a southern New Zealand village, and grew up loving running, nature and dirt-track speedway. He has lived in a cardboard house in Mexico, a school-house in a Filipino village and presently lives in a red brick former Soviet apartment building in Baltic Europe. He performs his poetry regularly and has appeared in various publications.
