deep south journal
Deep South is one of New Zealand's longest running electronic literary journals. Established in 1995 by graduates of the University of Otago English and Linguistics department, the journal has published a wide range of new poetry, fiction and non-fiction, scholarly debate and review articles from New Zealand and elsewhere. 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of Deep South, and we will soon be opening submissions for this special edition.
The 2013 edition, edited by Catherine Dale and Lynley Edmeades, offers a comprehensive and exciting survey of New Zealand writing today, and is available now.
