Walls
A wood engraving by Gustave Dore called Ludgate Hill, 1872, depicting traffic congestion, the Ludgate Hill railway viaduct, and dome of St Pauls in London. Ludgate Hill was closed before 1939, and the rail bridge and viaduct were demolished in 1990 to enable the building of the City-Thames link railway station.
